Section 244(1) in Siliguri Municipal Corporation Act, 1990
(1)Subject to the provisions of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954 (37 of 1954)for the time being in force, the Corporation may cause inspection and analysis of any food, drug, edible oil, milk, similar items of human consumption or any utensil or vessel used for preparing or storing such things.
