ORDER
1. Appellant has filed the present appeal through letter dated 16.10.13. The matter was heard through Video Conferencing. During the hearing, appellant was present. Respondent public authority is represented by Shri Dharma Nigam, APIO.
2. The matter in short is that through his RTI application dated 6.6.13, appellant has sought to know year wise number of RTI applications received by STPP/NTPC, Vishakhapatnam, copies of RTI applications, applicants' names, addresses, no of rejections, no. of show cause notices issued by CIC to the CPIO/FAA of STPP/NTPC. There was no response from the respondent CPIO or from the appellate authority before whom the appellant had filed an appeal.
3. During the hearing, respondent submitted that the RTI application has not been received by him. He has received the RTI application only today.
4. Commission, hereby, directs the respondent to provide a response to the RTI application in accordance with law, within 15 days of receipt of this order.
5. With the above directions, this appeal is disposed of.
