Section 30(3)(a) in The Wild Life (Protection) (Orissa) Rules, 1974

(a)Any member of the Forest Department or an officer appointed under Sub-section (1) of Section 4 may require any person to stop within the limit of the Sanctuary or National Park, as the case may be, or at the entrance gate for purposes of checking and may demand the permit granted under Chapter to be produced for inspection.
