Pandey, Mr. Sayantan Das .... for the petitioner Mr. Abhrotosh Majumder, Mr. Deepak Agarwal, Mr. Prasun Mukherjee .... for the DVC The learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioners contends that the present dispute is primarily relating to the Delayed Payment Surcharge sought by the DVC from the petitioners. It is further contended that the petitioners have already made excess payments on account of electricity charges to the DVC.
The learned Senior Advocate appearing for the DVC submits that he will take instructions on the count as to whether any adjustment is required to be given to the petitioners. For such purpose, it is submitted, the accounts are to be scrutinized. 2 Accordingly, on the prayer of the DVC, the matter is adjourned and shall next be listed on April 12, 2023.
