(5)The Central Government shall, for the purposes of selecting the Members under sub-rule (3), constitute a Selection Committee consisting of:-

(a)Additional Secretary or Joint Secretary, in-charge of energyefficiency or energy conservation in the Ministry of the CentralGovernment dealing with power	—Chairperson
(b)An officer not below the rank of Joint Secretary to be nominatedby the Secretary in-charge of the Ministry of the CentralGovernment dealing with power	—Member
(c)Director-General.	—Member
