(2)If any furnace, flue or chimney be erected, altered, added to or re-erected in contravention of the provisions of clause (a), or used in contravention of the provisions of clause (b) or clause (c) of sub-section (1), as the case may be, the owner of such furnace, flue or chimney shall, on conviction, be punished with fine which may extend to one hundred rupees and in the case of a continuing contravention of the said clause (b) or clause (c) with an additional fine which may extend to twenty rupees for every day during which such contravention continues after conviction for the first such contravention.
