Section 2(24) in The West Bengal University of Technology Act, 2000
(24)"Teacher" means [a Principal, Professor, Associate Professor, Reader, Assistant Professor] [Words Substituted for the words 'a Professor, Principal, Associate Professor, Reader, Assistant Professor, Lecturer' by W.B. Act 12 of 2011.] or such other person, holding a teaching post or a part-time teaching post, appointed or recognized by the University or appointed by any affiliated institution;
