Section 196 in The M.P. Municipal Accounts Rules, 1971
196.
A stock register of surgical instruments and hospital necessaries shall be maintained in Form No. 111. The stock shall be verified by the Civil Surgeon once a year and he shall record a certificate to that effect in the stock register. Whenever any article is to be written off action will be taken according to rules applicable for other Municipal articles.
