- The corrupt practices referred to in section 22 shall entail disqualification for membership of any local authority for a period of five years counting from the date on which the finding of the [Civil Judge (Junior Division)] [Substituted by Act 29 of 1997 w.e.f. 20.10.1997.] as to such practices takes effect under this Act.
