                                      ORDER

RTI application:

1. The appellant filed an RTI application on 17.11.2011 seeking information pertaining  to  an educational loan.
2. The PIO responded on 29.11.2011.  The appellant filed a first appeal on 20.01.2012  with the first appellate authority (FAA).  The FAA responded on 13.02.2012 and upheld the  decision of CPIO.   The appellant filed a second appeal on 11.04.2012 with the Commission.

Hearing: 

3. The appellant and the respondent both participated in the hearing through video  conferencing.
4. The appellant referred to his RTI application of 17.11.2011 and stated that while he  had received a response from the bank but the information provided has missed out on the  critical points.   The appellant said that the uncooperative attitude of the bank throughout the  application process was a very harassing experience on account of the bottlenecks causing  delays because of which his son's education suffered.
5. The   respondent   stated   that   information   was   provided   on   the   various   points   as  available with the bank. 
6. The hearing revealed that the reply of the CPIO dated 29.11.2011 did not address the  points   that   should   have   been   addressed.     What   is   expected   from   the   bank   is   to  provide  information point­wise on all the issues raised in the RTI application.

Decision:

7.The respondent is directed to provide to the appellant information on the various points  raised in the RTI application.  Compliance must be done within 30 days of the issuance of this  order.

The appeal is disposed of.  Copy of decision be given free of cost to the parties.
