70. Compensatory Allowance on Leave.
- The competent authority may [subject to such Instructions as the [Chief Executive] [Notified in Gazette of India, Part-III Section 4 dated 7.8.1971.] may issue from time to time] permit an employee on leave to draw compensatory allowance or a portion thereof in addition to leave salary if it is satisfied that the whole or considerable part of the expenses to meet which the allowance was given continued during leave.
