9.
An ex-officio member shall not resign his membership of a managing committee. He may, however, be relieved of his office in the exigencies of public service by the President of the Committee when the District or the Sub-divisional Officer is the President and in other cases by the Inspector of Schools in consultation with the authority with whose prior approval he was appointed to the Committee under Rule 5 of this Part.
