36B. Appointment of members of the Service of District Engineers.
(1)The members of the Service referred to in Section 26-A shall be appointed by the [State] [Substituted by ALO.] Government.(2)The [State] [Substituted by ALO.] Government shall direct that every District Engineer, who is in the employment of any District Board at the time of the constitution of the Service referred to in sub-section (1) and is not discharged in accordance with his own desire or the terms and conditions of his employment, shall be deemed to be appointed as a member of such Service.
