Section 5(1) in Telangana Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1963
(1)(a)No motor vehicle shall be used in any public place, unless the licence granted in respect thereof under clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 4, or under sub-section (4) of that section, is displayed on the motor vehicle in such manner as may be notified by the Government.(b)If the licence is not so-displayed on the motor vehicle, the registered owner or the person having possession or control thereof shall be punishable with fine which may extend to fifty rupee.
