Section 14(ii) in The First Statutes of the National Institutes of Technology
(ii)[ he shall have the power to send members of the staff, except the Director, of the Institute for training or for a course of instruction, outside India subject to such terms and conditions as may be laid down by the Board from time to time and the visit abroad by the Director shall be approved by the Chairman, National Institutes of Technology Council; [[Substituted 'he shall have the Power to send members of the staff except the Director of the Institute for training or for a course of instruction outside India subject to such terms and conditions as may be laid down by the Board from time to time. Incidentally the visit abroad by the Director shall be approved by the Chairman, National Institutes of Technology Council;
