407. Procedure when contractor is not available.
- If no suitable contractor is available, the District Officer will arrange for the supply of carriage through the police or the Collectorate Nazir, or in such other way as may be convenient. Under the latter part of Section 3 of Regulation XI of 1806 the officer deputed to accompany the troops may always apply to the nearest police officer for assistance in procuring carriage.
