FACTS
Heard today dated 20.3.2012. Appellant not present. The public authority is represented by Dr. D. Chenna Reddy, Scientist 'SG' and Shri P. K. Atrey, CAO. The aforesaid officers are heard and the records perused.
2. It is the say of Dr. Reddy that the Institute advertises for trainees every year having the qualification of BE or MSc (Physics). As per policy guidelines, only those candidates are selected who have graduated in the year of advertisement or in the preceding year. The graduates not falling in this category are not considered for the training programme. The appellant herein is a graduate of 2009 and, therefore, does not satisfy the eligibility criteria. In this connection, the appellant, vide RTI application dated 30.4.2011, had sought information on 10 paras. Dr. Reddy submits that para-wise information was provided to the appellant vide letter dated 2nd June, 2011. The said letter is perused.
4. The crux of the matter is that the appellant was not found to be eligible as per rules. In the premises, it is ordered that a copy of the policy guidelines regarding the eligibility criteria may be sent to the appellant, free of cost, in 04 weeks time.
