Section 26(1) in The U.P. Judicial Service Rules, 2001
(1)The seniority of the officer, who are already members of the service under the provisions of Uttar Pradesh Nyayik Sewa Niyamawali, 1951 when these rules came into force, would be determined according to the said rules.
