(3)If the amount determined by the competent authority under sub-section (1) or sub-section (2) is not acceptable to either of the parties the amount shall, [on an appeal preferred by either of the parties to the appellate authority, within a period of sixty days from the date of the order appealed against, be determined by an order of the appellate authority.] [ Substituted by Act 41 of 1982, Section 6, for " on an application by either of the parties, to the arbitrator, be determined by the arbitrator" (w.e.f. 15.5.1983).]
