Section 32(1) in The Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Rules, 1967
(1)A Market Committee may levy and collect fees on declared agricultural produce marketed in the market area on an ad valorem basis from the purchaser at such rates as may be specified in the bye-laws of the Committee, so however, that such rates shall not be less than the minimum and more than the maximum rates notified by the State Government under section 31.
