Section 39 in The Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Act, 1994
39. Compensation to the accused.
- If a Gram Panchayat is satisfied after enquiry that a case brought before it was false, frivolous or vexatious, it may order the complainant to pay to the accused such compensation not exceeding two hundred rupees, as it thinks fit.
