39. Penalty for not giving information or giving false information.
- If any person who is required by any authority under any of the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder to furnish any information, wilfully fails to furnish such information or knowingly furnishes false information, he shall be punishable with fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees.
