(2)If during or at the end of the period of trial he is found to be unsuitable for the service or post, he shall be reverted to his former substantive service or post.(Note. - The failure to pass the specified examination, if any, within such period as may be allowed for the purpose may be construed as failure to show fitness for the service or post in which the person is officiating.)
