     Writ petition (civil) praying inter alia that in the circumstances
stated in the affidavit filed along with the WP(C) the High Court be
pleased to direct respondents 2 and 3 to desist from renaming the Stadium
Link Road to that of St.Kuriakose Elias Chavara AChan Road without
convening the Ward Committee/Ward Sabhas as contemplated under the Proviso
to Sub Section 1 of Section 379 of the Kerala Municipality Act 1979,
pending disposal of the above writ petition, so as to secure the ends of
justice.


     This petition again coming on for orders upon perusing the petition
and the affidavit filed in support of WP(C) and this Court's order dated
11.09.2023 and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. P.O.THOMAS, T.MADHU,
C.R.SARADAMANI, SHAHID AZEEZ & RENJISH S. MENON, Advocates for the
petitioner and of SHRI. SOBHAN GEORGE, Advocate for R2 & R3, the court
passed the following:
