(1)No new prisoner shall, subject to the provisions of rule 58, be admitted by a Gatekeeper into a prison before the opening of the jail and after the hour of its lock-up:Provided that a prisoner, -(a)on the special written order of a Sessions Judge or a District Magistrate or the Superintendent, or(b)on transfer after due intimation, shall be admitted into the prison after the hour of its lock-up.
