Section 14(1) in The M.P. Prisoners' Release on Probation Rules, 1964
(1)In each case the District Magistrate shall determine whether or not the proposed guardian is fit to act as such having regard to his status, antecedents and the degree of control that may be exercised on the prisoner, and inform the Government of his opinion.
