Section 30(1) in The Orissa Municipal Employees' Pension Rules, 1989
(1)An employee applying for an invalid pension shall submit a medical certificate of incapacity. The examining medical authority shall be a Chief District Medical Officer or Medical Officer of equivalent status or above.
