Section 2(f) in Rajasthan Police Subordinate Service Rules, 1989
(f)"District" means and includes the District of the State including Government Railway Police District and Unit or Units which declared equivalent to a District by the Director General-cum-Inspector General of Police for the purposes of these Rules;
