Section 57(6) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(6)The seniority of Teachers, officers and non-teaching employees of the former University after transfer to the University, shall be determined after calculating the years of recognised services rendered by such Teachers, officers and non-teaching employees in the former University before such transfer in identical posts or cadres.
