31. Composition of the panel for selection of Independent Members.—
Independent Member(s) of the State Police Board shall be appointed on the recommendation of a Selection Panel, which shall consist of—(a)Chief Minister of the State,(b)Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly,(c)Home Minister of the State, and(d)Leader of the Opposition in the State Legislative Assembly; or as the case may be, if there is no Leader of the Opposition, the Leader of the largest single opposition party in the State Legislative Assembly.
