Section 25(i) in Assam Science & Technology University Act, 2009
(i)to consider the measures suggested by the Academic Council on any matter affecting We Academic work of the University and to express its views on them, to consider any matter referred to it by the Executive Council or the Academic Council and to submit report thereon to the Executive Council or the Academic Council, as the case may be; and
