- Fees shall be refunded if applied for within one year from the date of payment thereof in the following cases:-(i)if after paying the fee, a person does not submit the application for issue of passport or travel document or for any service on a passport or travel document already held by him, as the case may be;(ii)if the fee paid is in excess of the prescribed fee; and(iii)if the fee paid is for a service for which no fee has been prescribed.
