1. Mr Atul Shanker Mathur, learned counsel for the appellant, affirms that this appeal is confined to the following two issues:

(i) First, the interpretation of Clauses 9 and 22, obtaining in the General Conditions of Contract [GCC] concerning the Bawana Contract i.e., the subject contract.

(ii) Second, with regard to the payment of interest.

1.1. Mr Mathur reiterates that the issues concerning the rejection of the counter-claim by the learned Arbitrator are not pressed in the above- captioned appeals, although there is a mention, qua the same, in the written submissions filed, as these are founded on facts/material which cannot be subjected to reappreciation in the instant appeals.
