28. Filling up of emergent vacancy.
- Any vacancy which may occur in the membership of the authorities or bodies of the university due to death, resignation or removal of a member or due to change of capacity in which he was appointed or nominated, shall be filled up as early as possible by the person or the body who had appointed or nominated such a member:Provided that the person appointed or nominated as a member of an authority or body of the university on an emergent vacancy, shall remain a member of such authority or body only for the unexpired tenure of the member, in whose place he is appointed or nominated.
