Section 35(a) in Rabindranath Tagore University Act, 2017
(a)to make recommendations to the Post-graduate or the Under-graduate Board, as the case may be about the pattern of courses, curriculum, and syllabi to be laid down for different courses and the examinations to be held for such courses and to make recommendations for revision of courses, syllabi, curricula and examinations in so far as they relate to the field of the particular branch of studies;
