The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of certiorari setting aside the order, dated 01.10.2024, Annexure P-1, whereby the petitioner's request for extending the period of deputation has been declined.

2. The petitioner was sent on deputation in a School in Palwal upto 10.09.2024. On completion of the period of deputation, he was relieved for election duty with effect from 11.09.2024. Thereafter, he joined his parent School at Jhajjar on 15.10.2024, from where he was posted as per his 24th choice of posting which had been submitted during the transfer drive. The petitioner is claiming extension of deputation keeping in view the general order dated 10.10.2024 Annexure P-2, whereby some other employees, who were on deputation as on 31.10.2024, have been ordered not to be relieved till further orders.

It is apparent on record that the petitioner's period of deputation ended on 10.09.2024, and he has thereafter joined his subsequent place of KUSUM 2024.12.04 11:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court, CHD CWP-27961-2024 -2- posting at Jhajjar. The office order, dated 10.10.2024, has been subsequently passed for the employees who were on deputation as on 31.10.2024, which would not be applicable to the petitioner as he had already been relieved by that time. No right vests in him to seek extension of deputation. Further, the petitioner is due to be superannuated on 31.03.2025.

4. In view of the above, there is no ground to entertain the petition.
