Section 113(1) in The Orissa Municipal Corporation Act, 2003
(1)The Corporation shall meet for the transaction of business at the Corporation Office or at some other convenient place within the Corporation Area at least once in every month and the Mayor, or in his absence the Deputy Mayor, shall fix the day, time and place of the meeting.
