Section 104(1) in New Town, Kolkata Development Authority Act, 2007
(1)Ail public drains, and all drains in, alongside, or under any public street, whether made out of the fund of the Development Authority or otherwise, and all trunk-sewers, sewage treatment plants, drainage and pumping station and all works, materials and things appurtenant to the drainage system, which are situated within the area of New Town, Kolkata, shall vest in the Development Authority.
