General for the respondent State.

Petitioner by way of present petition seeks following relief:

1. To issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing Respondent no.2 to 5 to provide protection to petitioner and her relatives from illegal harrassment.
2. To issue a further writ directing to Respondent no.2 to 4 to take strict legal action against the guilty respondent no.6 and 7.
3. To issue any other writ/order/direction to the respondents under the circumstances of petition.

Learned Deputy Advocate General for the respondent/State was directed to seek instruction on 02.08.2017. On instructions it is stated that against husband of the petitioner, 33 cases has been registered under the various crime numbers under Sections 307, 34, 394, 452, 294, 427, 506, 323, 34, 324, 307, 506(B) 302, 334, 309, 354, 341, and 379 of IPC, Sections 4A and 13, of Gambling Act, Section 25 of the Arms Act and Section 3/5 of Essential Commodities Act. It is stated that even against the sister in law of the petitioner offences has been registered under Section 34(A) of the Excise Act. It is further contended that on a requisition received from the Superintendent of Police, Jabalpur proceedings are initiated under the Madhya Pradesh Rajya Suraksha Adhiniyam 1990. When faced with such facts adverted to by learned Deputy Advocate General, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the petition. Prayer allowed.

Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
