- Recruitment to the various categories of posts in the Service shall be made from the following sources :

(i)	Tracer	...	By direct recruitment.
(ii)	Draftsman	...	Fifty per cent by direct recruitment.Fifty per cent bypromotion from amongst substantively appointed tracers who haveput in at least ten years of continuous Service, as such, on thefirst day of the year of recruitment.
(iii)	Computer	...	By promotion from amongst substantively appointed Draftsmanwho have put in at least ten years of continuous Service, assuch, on the first day of the year of recruitment.
