(17)Crossings. - (a) At all crossings of a track with a road or walkway, danger or crossing signs and wherever reasonably practicable, blinking lights shall be provided. At all important crossing gates or barriers manned by watchmen shall be provided. Swinging gates and barriers shall be secured against inadvertent opening or closing.(b)All crossings, warning signs, gates and barriers shall be illuminated during hours of darkness.
