(2)[ The Chairman may also direct by Instructions issued in this behalf that special leave may be granted to employee for (i) injury from accidents arising from and in the course of employment, (ii) undergoing sterilisation operations, (iii) participating in tournaments or (iv) any other purpose whether of the same nature or not, specify the duration of leave for any purpose and the condition subject to which such leave may be granted and delegate the authority to any officer [not below the rank of Assistant Divisional Manager] [Notified in Gazette of India, Part-III Section 4 dated 7.8.1971.] to grant the leave.]
