22H. Functions of Police Establishment Board at Range Level.
The Police Establishment Board at Range Level shall perform the following functions, namely:--(a)The Board shall decide all transfers, postings and other service related matters of Police Officers of the rank of Police Sub-Inspector to Police Inspector within the Range.(b)The Board shall be authorized to make appropriate recommendations to the Police Establishment Board No. 2, regarding the postings and transfers out of the Range, of the Police Officers of the rank of Police Sub-Inspector to Police Inspector.Explanation.--For the purposes of this section, the expression "Police Officer" means a Police Officer of the rank of Police Sub-Inspector to Police Inspector.
