Section 44(1) in Jharkhand Tourism Development and Registration Act, 2015
(1)The prescribed authority may accept from any person who is reasonably suspected of having committed an offence under this Act, a sum of money by way of compounding of such offence and may out of the money so received, compensate the person against whom the offence has been committed, to the extent the prescribed authority deems reasonable.
