Section 34(3) in The Bharathidasan University Act, 1981
(3)The Standing Committee on Academic Affairs, may propose to the Syndicate the draft of any statute to be passed by the Syndicate and such draft shall be considered by the Syndicate at its next meeting:[Provided that the Standing Committee on Academic Affairs shall not prepare the draft of any Statute or any amendment to a statute relating to matters other than Academic Affairs.] [Substituted by Tamil Nadu Act 20 of 1985.]
