Section 35 in West Bengal Municipal Corporation Act, 2006
35. Compulsory retirement of officers and other employees of Corporation.
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in this chapter or elsewhere in this Act or the rules made thereunder, an officer or other employee of the Corporation shall retire from service compulsorily with effect from the afternoon of the last day of the month in which he attains the age of sixty years.(2)No officer or other employee of the Corporation shall be re-employed after retirement in any post of the Corporation without the prior sanction of the State Government.
