- Nothing contained in section 7 shall affect,-(i)any mortgage of the description referred to in sub-section (1) of section 8, except to the extent provided for in that section; or(ii)any liability for which a charge is provided under section 55, clause (4), sub-clause (b) of the Transfer of Property Act, 1882 (Central Act IV of 1882).
