Section 38(2) in Delhi Prisons (Transfer of Prisoner, Labour and Jail Industry, Food, Clothings and Sanitation) Rules, 1988
(2)The Inspector General may with the previous sanction of the Administrator by general or special order in that behalf, exempt any prisoner or class of prisoners, or all prisoners generally, from labour on any particular day or days.
