Section 2(1)(xxvi) in Jharkhand Co-operative Societies Rules, 2008

(xxvi)'Farmers' Service Society' means a society in which, with the core object of increasing agricultural production, employment and income and better utilization of resources, land is brought together and jointly cultivated by all the members, such land, (a) being owned by or leased to the members (or some of them) or (b) coming in possession of the society in nay other manner whatsoever.
