71. Holding of elections.
(1)Election for the purpose of electing the Chairman and members of the Managing Committee of the Project Committee and to fill up any vacancy therein shall be held in a special meeting convened for the purpose. One half of the total number of members of the general body of the Project Committee shall constitute the quorum for such special meeting.Explanation. - Where the strength of the members of the general body of the Distributory Committee is an odd number, for the purpose of reckoning the fifty per cent strength, it shall be rounded off to the next higher number.
